EXHIBITION ACTIVITIES
The Foundation organizes the following types of exhibitions:
• Thematic exhibitions on the history of art, designed to make the public more familiar with the great themes of 20th-century art, or with the familiarise figures of particularly significant foreign and Italian artists.
• Interdisciplinary exhibitions, with historical-anthropological interpretation of art history.
• Exhibitions on specific areas (photography, cinema, architecture, design).
• Exhibitions that shed light on the role of Milan in the art world, focusing on personalities who have made great contributions to the cultural life of the city.
VIDEOS AND CONFERENCES
The spaces of the Foundation contain a multimedia system to permit projection of films and videos. The use of multimedia technology facilitates the approach to complex themes on the part of a non-specialized public, during conferences or screenings, and along the itinerary of an exhibition.
Besides the in-depth conferences prepared for each individual exhibition and organized in cycles, with a fixed schedule for visitors, the Foundation also organizes one-day study programs and conferences in other facilities, generally at universities (at the Milan Politecnico, for example, during the exhibition on the Bauhaus), with the participation of critics, art historians and artists.
