theater pieces (such as the Italian premiere of Violet, a work of romantic theater by Kandinsky, during the exhibition on this artist in 1996), film series (for example, during the exhibition on Futurism in 1998, in collaboration with Fondazione Cineteca Italiana and the Cinémathèque Française), conferences and round table discussions (on the Bauhaus, in collaboration with the Milan Politecnico, and on Futurism in 1998, in collaboration with the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan).
To the same extent, the Foundation constantly cooperates with the foreign cultural institutes present in the territory, which often actively support the Mazzotta initiatives. Information on the exhibitions is sent to over 60,000 persons in mailings.
The high artistic-scientific level of the events produced and the vast range of educational offerings of the Foundation have led to constantly growing ranks of frequent visitors (over 20,000 today), for whom a membership program has been created to offer special benefits.
Other services for art lovers include the website on educational activities www.mazzotta.artv.it, and the recently opened site www.mazzotta.it, illustrating the activities of Fondazione Antonio Mazzotta and the publications of Edizioni Gabriele Mazzotta. Starting in September 2004 it is possible, at the official website, to subscribe to the digital Newsletter service, for up-to-date information on the latest initiatives of the Foundation and new Mazzotta publications. |
